Privacy policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Jonathan D. Berry, PLLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used and the choices you have.

Information you provide. When you fill out a form, schedule a consultation or sign up for emails, the firm collects what you enter, such as your name, phone number, email address and a short description of your question. A form submission is sent to Jonathan by email through the website’s mail server. So that a message is not lost if the email does not arrive, the website also keeps an encrypted backup copy, which can be read only with a private key held by the firm’s website administrator. Backups are kept only as long as the firm needs them to respond to your inquiry and meet its professional obligations, and are then deleted. The website also briefly records a one-way code for your connection, to limit repeated submissions.

Information collected automatically. This site does not currently use analytics tools or advertising cookies. Like any website, the server that hosts it keeps standard technical logs (such as your IP address, the pages requested and your browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

Fonts. This site’s typeface is delivered by Adobe Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Adobe’s servers, which means Adobe receives your IP address and the address of the page you are viewing. No other information from this site is sent to Adobe.

How information is used. To respond to your inquiry, check for conflicts of interest, schedule appointments, send materials you request and improve the website. The firm does not sell your personal information.

Sharing. Information is shared only with service providers that help run the website and practice (the website’s hosting provider, email providers and practice-management software), under confidentiality obligations, or as required by law.

Email. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.

Security. The site uses encryption (HTTPS) and reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please don’t send confidential details through the website.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To ask about, correct or delete information you’ve provided, contact jberry@jdberrylaw.com.

Children. This site is not directed to children under 13.

Changes. This policy may be updated. The effective date above shows the latest version.
